Its the time of  the year again.... we celebrated the both Yasmine and cousin Amsyar's Birthday.... its was small get together birthday party -8 Apr... I will never forget this date, Yasmine. I am sure you will grow up to know how much I love you and Abang.... Yep thats a good monkey face there!

Mom's Birthday

My mom celebrated her 72nd birthday on Saturday. Made this cake for her (my mentor).... I pray that mom will always be blessed with good health for many many years to come.
All packed to go to bro's house for celebration ...made Briyani dinner for all.

Birthday Cake!!!

Meet Samuel my youngest student so far.... One day Samuel found me from the net and called me to check if we could bake together a birthday cake for his girlfriend. I immediately said Ok and discussed the type of cake he prefered.

One afternoon he dropped by my kitchen and both of us came up with a Chocolate Truffle cos I said that was my speciality and repeat orders. While having conversation with him I discovered that Samuel is an intelligent and mature young man despite his age. We exchange ideas on how to plan time management on studies and gave me good tips on how to do well for Syakir Primary school matematics.

Hmmm... look how dedicated Samuel is in his cake decorating!!!

29 Oct 08, was 'ayah's birthday. So made this lovely Chocolate Truffle to celebrate with. Got a watch for ayah... and he was so happy!!!

Milicent ordered the Chocolate Truffle to surprise her boss on her birthday. She wanted her bosses name to be inscripted. So had to use the piping gel to overwrite on the truffle to make the effect stand out. Happy birthday Linda!!!

It was supposed to be a break for me this week, cos of month end closing. However a corporate company asked me to bake a 3kg cake for their 3 staff's birthday. I wasnt really sure of the theme they wanted, so had to come with an idea. I decided that buttercream would be appropriate of the hot weather..... cos it wont melt sp easily and pasted an edible image of their corporate logo. Thanks to my "sa...yang" who although busy helping me with the kids.... help me with the decorating as well.
