Pink and Black Bling Bling Bday Cake

These days be prepared to expect the unexpected.....
Hey peeps... Rose asked me if I could design a Bling Bling cake..... initially I have no idea what it was..... So I came up with the edible pink zebra prints and black coloured circle design chocolates paste on the pink fresh cream... with dragees to make the effect of BLINK!!.

I designed the Dora in Kebaya cake.... took a week trying to figure out what best, customer wanted Dora carving cake in Kebaya.... well will try in my next challenge.

This is part of practising my skill in photography....

The Ultimate "My Mee Sup"

I have always wanted to share recipe in my blog.... well here is one taken from my mum's recipe, so since I thought I am gonna take a picture of it as part food photography....

Ingredients
500gm yellow mee
Garnishing
Fried shallots
green chillies
parsley leaves
Soup
2 cloves of shallots
2 cloves of garlic
white pepper
pinch of salts
white soy sause
2 pc of fish cake sliced
2 cups of water
Chinese chai sum

Method
Stir garlic and add shallots lightly with the aroma. Add in salt,pepper soy sause and lastly water. Let it boil for a couple minutes. Then add fish cake and lastly the chye sim before switching of the fire.

In a hot boiling pot of water just soak the yellow mee a couple times for a minute or so and drained it. Place it in a bowl and pour the soup onto it and garnish it with the fried shallots, green chillies and parsley leave.

Serve while its hot.
